As my senior capstone project in the Sound Recording Technology program at Texas State University, I began Untapped Productions, an internet video series showcasing the bright talents of the undiscovered musicians of Central Texas.

Operating out of Fire Station Studios in San Marcos, each Untapped episode features a new musical guest's live in-studio performance. Every artist performs for an intimate audience of friends and family, while their set is recorded through top-of-the-line analog recording gear. I assembled a small film crew that would volunteer to film each episode in beautiful high definition multi-cam, and as the project developed, steps were taken toward a much more stunning video product, such as VFX, and color grading. As a lifelong musician, I believe in the power of a live performance, and pride myself on being able to capture the energy and provide outstanding production value to local artists who may not have the label support or budget to otherwise record in such a luxurious way.
